Runabout Inspired Wood Canoe
I spent a lot of time working on old runabout boats from the 1920’s-1960’s and wanted to pay homage to them. This canoe is being built in the style of those old boats, using authentic materials that would be found in a runabout from that time period. The final product will feature a dark mahogany stain, with white pinstripe decking, stainless steel rubrail, a stainless lift-ring, uphulstered seats, and a small flagpole on the back deck. This canoe will truly be one of a kind.
